LoveMyShoes Helps Katrina Victims

December 18, 2005

SAYVILLE, NY, (NAMC) - Robert Yeganeh of LoveMyShoes.com (www.lovemyshoes.com) shipped over 10,000 pairs of brand new shoes valued at almost $200,000 to New Orleans from Love My Shoes in Sayville, NY. Love My Shoes has combined efforts with Russell Simmons, hip-hop magnate and founder of Def Jam Records and Rush Communications, to get this operation off the ground.

Russell Simmons has long held that when the resources are available, social responsibility is a top priority. “We are committed to filling the voids and serving as best we can the many thousands of people that lost homes and belongings to hurricanes Katrina and Rita. To have LoveMyShoes.com donate thousands of pairs of shoes from their shelves shows the kind of generosity and support we should all be showing to our neighbors on the Gulf Coast.”

“Where there is abundance there is an opportunity to give. When that opportunity is taken, then the giver deserves credit and should be elevated as an example of how we can help each other in times of crisis,” declares Michael Sean Anderson, whose McCan Company brokered the Rush/LoveMyShoes.com relationship. “Rush Communications has a track record of tireless dedication to those in need. It is tremendously encouraging to see Robert Yeganeh and LoveMyShoes.com join the effort and help set the standard for the rest of us.”

LoveMyShoes.com carries brands like Miss Sixty, Michael Kors, BCBGirls, KangaROOS, Skechers, Charles David, Puma, Chinese Laundry, Enzo Angiolini, Puma, Stuart Weitzman, Reaction, Steve Madden, Nine West, Converse and more for 20-25% less than department store and private boutique prices. The site also carries a wide variety of private label brands like Roberto Yeganelli, Splash, and Michael Antonio that are priced 60-80% off the original brands.

Slightly used shoes from individuals are also welcome, and if you stop by on Tuesday, November 1st to donate shoes, you will receive $5 off a Love My Shoes’ purchase.

SheFinds.Com reviews LoveMyShoes.Com

December 09, 2005

One thing I’ve learned from surfing the Net as much as I do is that one web site in every category usually rises to the top as the “go to” site.  Want good deals on great shoes, from casual to couture? Go to Zappos.com . But Zappos may be getting some competition from LoveMyShoes.com, also an etailer of not only shoes, but also accessories.

LoveMyShoes.com has women’s sizes 5 to 11 and carries the brands to have but for 20-25 percent less than department store and boutique prices. Additional perks: Although it’s not quite yet at Zappos  level (It has 150 brands and more than 300,000 pairs of shoes in stock compared to the 500 brands and nearly 2 million pairs Zappos sells), I found some encouraging deals! A pair of Charles David Shoes that sells for $301 on Zappos is going for $250 on LoveMyShoes.com. I randomly compared two other pairs, including J Lo sandals, and LoveMyShoes had better deals on those also. However, if you find a shoe for a lower price, Zappos promises to refund 110 percent of the difference.

LoveMyShoes.com has Live Operators available for questions. AND in addition to the Search by Brand, Size, Color and Price function, there’s a Search By Fabric/Material subfunction. Then again, Zappos has searches by heel height, color, and style.  Find the competition at lovemyshoes.com.

We would like to thank Houston Style Magazine for featuring LoveMyShoes.Com in this month's issue! They were excited to check out next season's latest trends, including YEARLING by Enzo Angiolini, a hot pump that's sure to be a big seller next year. Also featured is WINNIE by JLO, a really fun evening shoe that's sure to impress.

Also check out the latest from GOMAX, entitled NARCISSA-08, which we assume is named after the Greek fable of the man who fell in love with himself. We're sure you will fall in love with these sandals!

Charles Albert is also featured with thier newest wedge, P050417-4, as well as two boots by MERTIS and Mademoiselle.
