I would like to thank all of our customers, vendors and media for joining us at our 9-15 Launch Party celebration. I am proud to say the party was a resounding success! So many people to thank, where do I begin? My deepest gratitude to Quo NightClub of Chelsea for having us. They did a fantastic job of accomodating our needs and the space was wonderful. I would like to thank our vendors, Puma, Dollhouse, J.Loren, Highest Heel and others for taking the time out to set up displays and talk with our customers about thier latest trends. The feedback I recieved throughout the night from our customers was very positive. Everyone loves to feel a little glamorous. Who can be more glamorous than Janice Dickinson, the first world supermodel, who graced us with her beauty and bombastic personality throughout the night! We were even entertained by members of the Village People, who engaged the entire club in a surprise rendition of YMCA. To all of you who missed this launch party, be sure to catch our next one. You'd be crazy not to! |

I had such a great time hanging out with the producers and cast of Sex & The City as they celebrated thier foray into network syndication. That's right, Sex & The City is not just an HBO thing anymore! I believe you can catch episodes of the ground-breaking series (edited, of course) on the WB and TBS. I was very excited to hang out with Jason Lewis who played Smith Jerrod Samantha's love interest on the show. He's a very down-to-earth guy and all the ladies were fawning over him. Then, of course, I told them I sold women's shoes and all the attention was on me!
Best of luck to Sex & The City, one of the few shoes to bring women's footwear to the forefront of American television!
| LoveMyShoes would like to thank Tracy Demarzo of OfMarch LLC and Tony Berger of Relevent for inviting my staff & I to the Elle Magazine's fabulous birthday gala at Bloomingdales in NYC. It was the perfect party to end the summer season. My webmaster Jeff Shain and I enjoyed a night of celebrity guests and entertainment, casino tables, caviar and champagne. Some of the stars on-hand to help celebrate Elle's Birthday were Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order SVU fame and Kanye West, who provided the musical entertainment for the evening in an intimate performance on a small stage. Considering he was just on MTV accepting his awards at the VMA's, this was really quite a treat for us. I heard a report Lindsay Lohan was on the scene, although I didn't personally see her. I wouldn't be surprised. As fashion minded as I hear she is, this party was the place to be. I recognized a number of A-list fashion & footwear designers as well as young models I've seen on the cover of Elle and other fashion magazines. I was rather surprised to discover how well a floor in Bloomingdales could be converted to accomodate such a high profile party. The lighting and stage design was incredible considering the space they had to work with. One particular display that caught my eye featured a row of about fifteen cubes. I didn't understand what they were used for, until fifteen gorgeous models in black gowns lined up and stood on top of them. It was like human art. Thanks again Tony & Tracy! Cheers! |
