Hanging with Jessica Simpson at the Shoe Convention!
March 01, 2006My trip to the shoe convention this year in Vegas was marked by several wonderful surprises. First and foremost, I was very happy to see my old friend Steve Madden. After 25 years of friendship, its amazing to see how far his line has come.
Then of course, there's the beautiful Jessica Simpson. Her line is practically a baby in shoe years, but I see real potential in its future. There are some very powerful and intelligent people in the shoe business behind it, and I'm eager to see how the line performs. As for Jessica herself, she was an absolute darling...everything I expected her to be...beautiful, charming and very comfortable to talk to. We had a very nice conversation about her line and I look forward to working with her and her mother in the future. Go JS!
Thanks to everyone for some key invites to some very hot parties. You won't be forgotten.
